Consultation/Supervision
Shannon Tallon is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She is an American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Approved Supervisor and Washington State Approved Supervisor. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2012 from Western Washington University, and her Master’s of Arts in Counseling from the CACREP accredited program at Colorado Christian University. She earned a post-graduate AAMFT accredited certificate in marriage and family therapy from Denver Family Institute in 2016. She is also certified in EMDR, has completed level 1 and 2 of Emotionally Focused Couples Counseling, as well as Level 1 of Gottman. She has experience working in community mental health (3 years) and private practice since 2020. She started a group private practice in 2023 where she supervises other clinicians towards licensure.
She is available to supervise other clinicians or meet for consultation. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment science, trauma informed care, EMDR, as well as Structural and Bowenian family therapy. She is relatable, humorous, and strives to ensure supervisees are both empowered and comfortable. She understands the vulnerability in seeking supervision and consultation, and strives to create a shame-free learning environment.
